Skinny Hot Chocolates Are the New Skinny Cap.

Sydney, I think that yesterday was our last sunny Saturday for quite a while.  I’m so glad I had the chance to sit out in the She Shed with the paper and feel the sun warm on my face and bare feet.
It’s been a completely different set of weather conditions today.  There’s a chill to the air and the sky is a chilly grey blue.
Walking up the road for hot chocolate requires layering up and rugging up before hitting the street.
Making the journey is rewarded with both a hot chocolate from the cafe (which ended up being free thank to my frequent sippers card) and fancy provisions with which to make my next cup at home.  That tin of Lindt chocolate flakes is enough for 7 hot drinks, or a week’s supply if I’m lucky.  A skinny hot chocolate is my new skinny cap.
That fancy heater/fan gadget by Dyson is performing admirably.  It’s warmed the entire lounge, dining and kitchen areas of SSG Manor.  I like seeing that flash of deep blue as it oscillates and does its thing.

I have a new skin care find to report back on as well.  For those of you that use gloves over your hand cream at night, I found these at Priceline.  They’re made of bamboo and cost $7 a pair.  If you are familiar with The Body Shop version ($12 a pair, from memory), these are looser at the wrist and a bit shorter.  The Priceline version do stay put during the night and are worth a look if you get through these gloves pretty quickly.

Stay warm, wherever you are and I hope you’re ready for the week ahead.
