Winter Revisited. More Camilla.

Isn’t it nice to know that even if the sun isn’t shining up above, Australia Post can still be called upon to deliver a little burst of sunny yellow to your doorstep.

I must remember to put our Australia Post delivery boy (because he looks around 17) on the Christmas list this year because he always treats us well.  He has been known to flag down both Mr SSG and I if we happen to be on the street to let us know if he’s dropped something off at the front door.  He also puts two and two together regarding things that require a signature on delivery.  If the radio, lights and shower are on but no one gets to the door when he rings then he’ll leave the package and spare us the having to make it to the post office sometime later during the working day.

It looks like the wintry weather is back to stay for a while.  It’s snowing in Canberra and the forecast for the eastern states sounds universally dismal.  Just in time for a weekend of staying in and keeping cosy, I’m thinking.

And rediscovering hot chocolate masquerading as coffee.

Not to mention the life sustaining properties of having dinner leftovers for lunch at work the next day.

I went all out for my spag bol lunch with a side salad and home made dressing.  It was very civilized and I almost forgot I was eating at my desk….

But, that parcel, I think you’re asking.  What was in it?

My Oriri order!  My commitment to a comprehensive maternity wardrobe shows no signs of abating, unfortunately.  Perhaps it’s my intuition telling me to be prepared for the fact that I’m not going to snap back into my pre pregnancy size on day one and to just embrace the fourth trimester (and Mr SSG and baby SSG) while nature, exercise and a bit of self discipline do what they can.

Oriri is the Australian source for that luxe maternity item you may feel like treating yourself to.  Every order comes gift wrapped with a thank you card and a 20% discount offer for your next purchase as well as 15% off for friends.  So if anyone needs the 15% code, email me?

Um yes, well…. that’s my order.  Another Camilla dress.  The Arabiana drawstring dress, which looks like this on a model

and has now sold out.  I didn’t believe that dress was convertible when I first saw tried it on but there is  how to video on the Camilla website.  The straps can be arranged several ways to change the neckline, it works as a skirt and you can alter the length by doing the ‘undie tuck’ – not sure if Camilla has patented this yet.
