A Less Mobile Passenger.

When I took advantage of the priority seating on the bus for less mobile passengers yesterday, I didn’t realise that I’d be even less mobile off the bus today.

I’ve managed to roll my ankle today.  Walking a very familiar path, I might add.  I’ll live to tell another day but it’s such an annoying injury to have when you’ve got a week of outings planned.  I’m hoping that resting up today will see me in better form tomorrow.

Before I was reduced to a slow hobble today, I managed to find this dress at Big W for the bargain price of $20!  It’s got my good friend the ruche down both sides which means there’s no chance of the dress riding up over my bump.

November is such a beautiful time of the year in Sydney.  Though we’ve had sunny days, the humidity hasn’t kicked in yet and there’s a fresh breeze in the air instead.

The jacarandas are still blossoming around the city.

Disco discs at Louis Vuitton.
The stores aren’t crazy busy during the week so window shopping and admiring the art work is still possible without claustrophobia setting in.

For my fellow Haigh’s fans, look what’s opening at the QVB next month?  Haigh’s will be occupying the corner store that used to house Adidas.  I can’t wait.  At least it will be a more comfortable place to line up at than the current location at The Strand.

I’m off to keep my ankle elevated for a few hours.

Take care and remember to look where you’re walking.  Ankles are very painful joints to roll!
