It's only the first day of the month but my Frugal February has gotten off to a flying start. Last month's credit card statements halved their size in front of my eyes. It turned out that someone on the internet charged a $1700 rifle purchase in Texas to my Visa Card and it somehow got processed successfully. After a quick phone call to the bank, the whole amount was cancelled from my account without much drama at all. It's not often that I say this but thank you, CBA!!!!!
The other way I buffed and shined my budget for February is that I bought some big ticket gifts last month. The only problem with being so far ahead in the gift department is that having all those goodies around the house for so long makes it so hard to resist opening them for myself....

Which reminds me, I need to book that hairdresser for tomorrow morning.
Have a great weekend, everyone!

I feel a bit sorry for Jules, I will be avidly watching the election season from afar, and hoping that if the Libs win Abbott isn't at the helm for long as I do believe that he is the devil incarnate.
ReplyDeleteA rifle? LOLLLL Thanks for making me laugh. Seriously i find it really funny.
ReplyDeleteScary about your credit card - and that they nearly got away with it!!! Glad you got it sorted :)
