It’s December Tomorrow. Boden Bargains.

Can you believe that it’s going to be December tomorrow?
My shoulders are relaxing already in anticipation of the Christmas break.  There’s a spring in my step and the hint of a smile despite the fact that I’m working on a gloriously sunny Sydney weekend.  All those Christmas plans made months ago are suddenly only a matter of days away.  Days filled with family, food and nothing particular planned await between Christmas Day and New Years.

The SSG Manor Advent Calender is officially stocked and ready for business in anticipation of tomorrow.  I found mine at Coles a few weeks ago and the plan is for us to allow Toddler SSG to open one drawer per day.  Preferably after dinner.  I think the drawers may be a little fiddly for him but we’ll see how it goes.

In the lead up to Christmas, Australia Post has started doing Saturday parcel deliveries.  It’s always a good start to the weekend to have both the paper and new buys waiting for you on your doorstep.

It is possible to say no to a Boden print?  Especially when they’re heavily discounted?  I got the Ariette cotton dress for $44 and the Sara linen skirt for $46.80.  My holiday wardrobe is just about sorted between these finds and some dresses I hope to be able to tell you about next week.

In other news, there’s a new card set to collect at Woolies.  ‘Super Animals’ features 108 different animals on cards whose characteristic calling sounds can be played in a card reader also available at Woolies.  The album ($5) is a sturdy binder with plastic pockets for the cards in between colourful fact and activity sheets.  Proceeds from sales of the album will go to Taronga Zoo.

I’m on a mission.  Buoyed by my success at completing the Top Gear sticker book, I just know I’ll have the complete menagerie too.

How are your December plans going?  Feeling festive already?
