A First Day. More Rainy Days.

It’s more of the same old same old as I look out through the rain spattered glass double doors onto the rain slicked wall and the rain drenched plants.

There’s been an awful lot of staring into the distance today because this is my view if I focus on what’s immediately in front of me.
It’s never a good sign when your computer gives you question marks before you even get a chance to type it a question. Which is why I’m here typing away rather badly on the virtual keyboard of my iPad.
To be fair though, my late laptop has had a pretty good innings. She was there for the Cambridges’ wedding and she nearly made it to see Prince George’s first day at his Montessori preschool. Wasn’t it lovely that these photos came from his mother’s own camera rather than from an official media outlet? And that we don’t actually know (yet) who made Prince George’s blue quilted jacket or its backpack? But yes, I think he looks adorable and you can’t go wrong with the outfit he’s chosen (when you’re two, there’s only one person who decides what you wear …. and that would be yourself).
Not much else to report from these parts, I’m afraid. I’m still wearing my Sky Hi Dunks with track pants in the middle of summer.
I had sushi for lunch again. This time whilst seated at a comfy booth by the ‘hood’s new sushi train.
And I can tell you from personal experience that dental abscesses are the work of the devil. Granted you can still eat sushi with one but they have they are still a gift to humanity from satan himself. In case you were wondering though, mint flavoured Savacol mouthwash tastes like an extra strong Fisherman’s Friend but it works a treat with antibiotics and those new fangled dental picks.
And on that note, I’m off to remember to take my antibiotics.

As well as to cross my fingers I’ll be 100% for Saturday’s little do. Us parents will not be going hungry, that’s for sure.
