Lovin’ Life: 20/3/2016. This Glorious Autumn Weather.

Autumn is all about the muted browns and oranges of the leaves shed by the trees that arch over our streets and gardens but in amongst all that paring back and slowing down is a change in the weather that I find strangely revitalising.  The cool change has seen me sleep better at night and lose that wretched feeling in the afternoons when I’m coated in a film of perspiration and too bothered by it to get much done   I’m also just a bit excited about how the change in weather will influence a change in my wardrobe options.

I’m lovin’ this new found lease on life I’ve been given with the change of season.  I put in an epic session in the garden yesterday sweeping and trimming away at the lawn and hedges.

I also got to wear long sleeves for the first time this year as well over this weekend.  Muji’s Breton striped long sleeve tops are fabulous.  The cut’s generous even in the fitted styles and there’s a weight in the organic cotton that’s impressive for a top that cost less than $15 full price.

Cooler weather has dictated the need for more sustaining meals and snacks….  At least that’s the official excuse for Toddler SSG’s schnitzel and chips for lunch yesterday.  Schnitz’s frites are the best potato product from a chain store food outlet in my opinion.  Followed closely by KFC’s chips.

And I debuted my JPG for Target tin mug at afternoon tea as well.  It’s bone china and was a steal at $10.  The elongated handle is very comfortable  to hold.  All the better for sipping your mug of tea with as you catch up on your favourite blogs over the weekend.

What’s your favourite thing about autumn?
