Life This Week 14/5/2018: Show Us Your Snaps.

It’s a bit of a mixture for ‘Show Us Your Snaps’ this week.

Carb and caffeine loading ahead of a crazy Saturday at work.

Finding the joy in an otherwise trying day.  Sitting in the work carpark getting ready to drive home.  Maroon 5 on the stereo.  Parked on Level 1B in one of the ‘easy’ angled spots (I still suck at staying between the lines on the perpendiicular spots).  Level 1B is ideal because there’s less hairpin turns to negotiate on your way out than say from Level 4B.

I can’t be entirely sure that Enid didn’t write this…  It did make me laugh out loud as I paid for my books at Harry Hartog.

I’m not a person to knowingly run out of yellow index cards at work.  500 is such a reassuring figure.

My day was made early the other day when two of my favourite dairy products were heavily discounted at Woolies.

Went out to lunch with the school mums for Mothers Day the other day.  There’s a lot to be said for combining navy tweed with red.
I managed to match this sculpture in the hotel lobby.
The carton my $11 takeaway dinner pack from Soul Origin came in.  It was surprisingly tasty.  Better than Maccas!!

I had the most interesting dinner the other night.  Well, interesting to me, at least.  Master SSG and I were at Town Hall station around 6pm one Monday night and as we walked around looking for dinner options, we found that a few cafes had switched their options from standard lunch and snack options to dinner packs.  One particular cafe actually made actual dinners like mash, steamed veg and grilled chicken (rather than packing up the day’s leftover salads for quick selling like one of their competitors).  Both deals were selling fast.
