Lovin' Life 4/4/2019: Autumn Sunshine.

This week I'm loving the cooler weather that's hit Sydney all of a sudden.

Hot lunches like ham and cheese toasties (with the crusts off, of course) are the order of the day.

I stop complaining about having to rake under my frangipani tree around about this time of the year.  It's a lovely excuse to get out in the gentle afternoon sun.

And then be rewarded with a comfy spot to lay down a picnic rug, lie down and look up at the sky.

It's just so good for the heart, lung and brain to just simply be in the great outdoors.  Even if it's just your backyard.

We do live in a beautiful and lucky country, don't we?  A country where there's beauty in every season.

  2. Sydney is certainly lovely in the Autumn. The mornings are finally getting a chill in them and the humidity has finally left us here in SE Queensland. Loving this time of year.

  4. Yes we do live in a wonderful country. I love this time of year. It's gorgeous outdoors! Nice chilly mornings and evenings and warm and gorgeous sunny days (mostly). Lying under that tree on a blanket would have been wonderful! :-) #TeamLovinLife

  5. So good to be a bit cooler I agree. Oh I miss the frangipani in the old backyard but I do not miss the raking! Denyse x

  6. I wish I was more of a gardener because I have a nice spot but do nothing with the gardens and feel bad about that.

And there's nothing better than a ham and cheese toastie in cooler weather!

  7. I have to agree that just being outdoors makes a difference in my outlook. I'm not real thrilled with autumn and winter but I know they are necessary to appreciate spring and summer.
