From my iPhone camera and in no particular order...
A collection of street signs neatly gathered by the trolleys at the shops. Nothing to see here....
A picture-perfect Sunday afternoon at Circular Quay, waiting for our ferry.
The giraffes of Taronga Zoo snacking in the shade. I love the salad boxes attached to the security fence. You may not be able to see them too clearly in the photo but they were filled with baby carrots and greens.
Sydney the fill necked lizard waiting for the train with us on the way home from the zoo. Sydney loves Sunday afternoons, trains and Peckish rice crackers (cheese flavoured, preferably).
An illustration by Stephen Michael King for Master SSG to mark their meeting during Book Week. 'Rainbow Bear' is a beautifully illustrated tale, by the way, and it's perfect to read together at the end of a long day at school and work.
And to finish off, photos from my Tuesday afternoon walk. That almost extravagant weekday off that allows me to get out and about whilst everyone else is at work or school.
The weather and the scenery did not disappoint.
Do you have favourite photo from your camera roll this week?

It was glorious to see some sunshine at the weekend after such a wet week! Taronga never disappoints and the giraffes definitely have an enclosure with a view. Love that illustration - what a wonderful momento!
ReplyDeleteYour week looks good, SSG, especially with that cappuccino as the first pic. I like your photos waiting for the ferry and from your walk, too. #lifethisweek
ReplyDeleteThere is NOTHING better than a day off during the week. And that ferry ride to the zoo on a blue day is unbeatable.
ReplyDeleteStunning pics and some very blue skies there in some. Evening the Tues arvo walk photos are lovely despite the clouds. I did grimace at Sydney the frill necked lizard though. *shudder*
ReplyDeleteNot many pics on my phone at the moment as I'm having an Instagram break so not taking as many. The main ones I took last week were at my godson's 8th birthday party!
